It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of IP. Samuel Mbicho Buuri of National Police Service, Mbeere North, Siakago which occurred on 9th October 2019 at Nairobi West Hospital.

Son of late Joseph Buuri and Mary Wambui. Husband of Esther Wamuyu and father of Joseph Buuri (Nairobi), Crystostom Maina (Sagana), Samuel Mwangi (NIBS, Thika) and Kelvin Mariga (Isiolo). Brother of Peter Buuri (Fisheries Dept., Embu), Esther Wanja (Sagana), CIP. John Buuri (CID, Western Region HQ, Kakamega), Paul Buuri (APTC, Embakasi), Sr. Lucy Buuri (Companion of Little Flower Sisters, Nyeri), Charles Kahariri (Headmaster, Mbugua Pry. School), Charity Wairimu (Nairobi, Utawala) and the late Michael Mwangi.

Son-in-law of Crystostom Maina (Cliembu) and Ann Gathoni of Kaiyaba, Giagatika. Brother-in-law of Lydia Gathigia (U.K.), Samuel Mwangi (U.K.), Eunice Wabere (Ruiru), Jane Nyaguthii (Nairobi) and Nancy Wandera (Nairobi) among others. Nephew of C.K. Mariga former Assistant Commandant Administration Police. Cousin of IP. Paul Mariga, CIP Patrick Macharia, Dr. Esther Njoroge, Rose Wanjiku (EDARP), Dr. Samuel Kahariri (Chairman, KVA), SSGT. Peter Mwai (Gilgil) among others. Grandfather of Samuel Mbicho and Benson Ngugi.

Family, relatives and friends are meeting daily at his home Sagana Scheme for prayers and Mass.

The cortege leaves Jamii Nursing Home on Friday 18th October 2019 for burial at his home, Sagana Scheme.
