Irene Gathoni Mugo

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Irene Gathoni Mugo.

Daughter of the late Milkah Kabugo Karimi and the late Johana Karimi Gichaga. Loving wife of Dr. Erastus Muiru Mugo. Mother of Jackline Wanjira Mugo and Macroy Gitau Mugo. Grandmother of Deborah Gatete and Peter Gatete. Sister of Professor Francis Gichaga, Catherine Gathii, the late Samuel Wahome Karimi, the late Wambui Karimi, the late jamleck Theuri, Rose Mumbi, Crifton Gatheru, Charity Ngima, Dr. Jackson Wanjau and Risper Wairimu. Mother in law of Edwin Gatete, Joshua Gatete and Ann Murugi Gatete. Sister in law of Rev Fred Muiru, Esther Wamaitha Mwangi, Annie Wanjiru Muriuki, Beth Wanjiku Kiruri, Paul Mungai, Faith Njoki Ngugi, Keziah Wairimu, Mary Wacu Kyalo and David Muchoki.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral home on 24th January at 9am for burial at Langata Cemetery. Funeral service to be conducted at the burial site.
