Isaac Kimani Mungai

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr. Isaac Kimani Mungai which occurred on 1st December 2019 at Kenyatta National Hospital.

He was formerly deputy secretary and Head of Legal Department in Ministry of Education, more recently former chairman of County Girls High School Nairobi, also member of Board of Governors Chania Girls High School, Thika. Until his death he was Assistant Bishop and General Secretary for Life Eternal Church Kayole.

Son of the late Fredrick Mungai and the late Gladys Wanjiru Mungai, late Milka W. Mungai and the late Hannah W. Mungai. Husband of Eunice Wambui Mungai. Father of Gladys Wanjiru, Moses Mungai, Victoria Wanjiku, Anna Wairimu, Joshua Muchemi, Gladys Mutuli. He was also living with Regina Ndunge and Shadrack Mulinge, William Mwikuyu and Victoria Ndinda. Brother of the late Samuel Wainaina, John Kuria Mungai, Half-brother of the late George Kimani Mungai, late Charles Wainaina Mungai (Nairobi Sign Writters), Henry Kimani Mungai, Edward Mweca Mungai, late Joseph Kibe Mungai, Paul Kimani Mungai and Margaret Wangui. Father-in-law of George Ndungu, the late Sophia Mungai, Ann Mungai, Abubakar Juma and Rachel Muchemi.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Mwihoko, Githura for prayers and funeral arrangement.

Funeral and burial will be held on 13th December 2019 at Lang’ata Cemetery
