Isabella Wangechi Kiana

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Isabella Wangechi Kiana, which occurred on 6th July, 2019.

Daughter of the late Shadrack Gakuha Njora and the late Betha Wambia Gakuha and stepdaughter of the late Rahab Gathigia Gakuha. Loving wife of Perminus Kiana Gikuhi of Mathaithi, Mathira. Mother of Nancy Njeri and the late Simon Gikiri, Betha Gathoni and Onesmus Githaiga, Richard Gikuhi and the late Purity Wangui, Winnie Gakenia and the late Muriuki Githui, Miriam Wambui and Eng. Daniel Kahoro, Dr. Shadrack Murimi and Mary Mwikali, Mercy Wairimu and Rev.(Dr.) William M.Theuri and Naomi Wandia and Ian Mbugua. A loving grandmother and great grandmother of many.

She will be laid to rest on Friday 12th July, 2019. The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Funeral Home in Karatina at 9.00am for a funeral service at PCEA Mathaithi Church, from 10.00am.Thereafter burial at her home in Kiawanduha, Mathaithi near Karatina town.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their home in Kiawanduha, Mathaithi from 4.00pm. Meetings shall also be held at St. Andrews Church Nairobi on Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th July, 2019 as from 5:30pm.
