It’s with humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the sudden death of Mr. Jackson Kimeli Korir of Kerotet Village, Ziwa Location, Uasin Gishu County that occurred on August, 5th 2019.

Son of the late Kipkorir Maiyo and the late Dinah Maiyo. Husband of Mrs. Florah Jepkesi Kogo. Father of Phillip Kiptanui (Melbourne, Australia), Dr. Elias Melly (Director Alexandria Group of Hospitals and Oncologist MTRH), Grace Cheptoo (Alexandria General Hospital, Kapsabet), Dorcas Chelimo (Alexandria Cancer Center, Eldoret), Janet Chepkirui (Baraton University School of Nursing) and Nelly Cherop (Uasin Gishu County Referral Hospital). Father-in-law of Dr. Beatrice Melly (Co-Director Alexandria Group of Hospitals and Hematologist MTRH) and Janex Melly (Melbourne, Australia). Brother of the late Catherine, John, the late Joseph, Mary, Christopher, Esther, William, Lydia and Samwel. Grandfather of Kiprotich, Chelagat, Kiptoo, Kibet, Kimutai, Cherop, Joy and Kiprutto. Cousin of the late Joseph Korir, Jackson Chepsol, Jeremiah Turn, Jeremia Chepsol, Brason, Micah, Julius, Dr. Peter Turn (PS Ministry of Labor), the late Job, David, Dinah, Mary, the late Samwel Tum, Abby, Eunice, the late Sella and Maria.

Family and friends are meeting daily at His home in Kerotet, Ziwa and Elgon View Eldoret for Prayers and funeral arrangements.

There will be a funds-drive on 12/08/2019 at Sirikwa Hotel, EIdoret and his home in Kerotet Village.

The cortege will leave Eldoret Hospital on 13/08/2019 at 9:30am, for Kerotet farm, Ziwa Location.

He will be laid to rest on 14/08/2019 at his home in Kerotet farm, Ziwa Location.
