James Gitonga Kangara

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden demise of Mr. James Gitonga Kangara of Government Chemist Department.

Beloved husband of Ann Kawira Gitonga and devoted father of Eric Mutembei Gitonga and Victor Mugendi Gitonga, Step-father of Malcom Mutwiri. Son of the late Leonard Nyaga and Silvya Nyaga. Brother of Kelvin Munene, the late Anderson Kariuki, Gilbert Kimathi, Purity Wanja, Juliet Kare, Fridah Gatwiri, James Mugwika and Kenneth Kariuki. Son-in-law of the late Eliud Njagi and Mercy Mukwairu. Brother-in-law of Patrick Kathenya, Fredrick Nyaga, Allan Nieru, the late Henry Mbae, Florence Karimi, the late Trizah Kaari and the late jusylin Kagendo. A caring uncle, friend and colleague of many. An inspiring leader, hardworking entrepreneur and mentor to many.

The final sendoff will take place tomorrow Thursday 6th August 2020. The cortege will leave Kenyatta University at 6.00am for the final resting place at the family home in Wiru, Tharaka Nthi County.
