James Kimani Mwai

In all things, we give thanks. We are grateful for the life of James Kimani Mwai who rested on 5th of October surrounded by his family. He was the son of Leonard and Priscilla Mwai of Kagwe Githunguri and son in law of Kabogo and Ruth Kangethe II of Kasarini, Kiambu Road.

He is survived by his wife Pauline Mwai, and children Tony and Carol Mwai, Philip and Annette Mwai, Angela Mwai, Helen and Albert Johnson. He was also the proud grandfather of Anthony Waiyaki, Christopher Kimani, Kui Kimberly, Kimani Kabogo and Natalie Cherobon.

James was the loving brother of Dr Wanjiku Mwai , late Anne Kamwende, Cecilia Waithera, Anne Wangui, late Christine Ruguru, late Elizabeth Kabul, late Stephen Mahea, late John Ndung’u, James Mbuthia, Alice Wanjiru and Joseph Ngeche. He was brother in law to the Kabogo’s of Kasarini.

He was also an uncle, mentor and friend to many.

Family and friends will are meeting at his home from today at 59 Miotoni Lane in Karen between 4pm and 6pm.

There will be a Memorial service at his home in Karen on Sunday the 8th of October at 3 pm. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
