James lkumbu Ngului MBS, HSC

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our father Retired Commissioner of Police Mr, James Ikumbu Ngului MBS, HSC, which occurred on 18th September 2022 after a long battle with a blood cancer bravely borne.

Beloved son of the late Ngului Ikumbu and the late Rose Kalee Ngului. Brother to the late Titus Maiyuku, Nicodemas Mwania and Bridgit Mungwee Kondu.

Loving Husband to Florence Mwende James. Father to Benjamin & Rose Mwangangi, Rose Kalee & the late Edward Odhiambo, Alian & Susan Njoroge, Vincent & Pharez Musyoki.

Grandfather to Desmond, Jerrad, Ikumbu, Jayden, Mwende, Teresa, Jeremy, and many others. He was a cousin, nephew, uncle, friend and mentor to many.

Family and friends are holding prayer meetings and burial arrangements daily at their residence in Kitui, Ikanga, Nairobi and Mombasa.

The cortege leaves Tribute Funeral Home, Syongila Kitui on Saturday, 1st October 2022 at 7.30am for the funeral service and last rites at his Nguuni Home in Ikanga, Kitui.

Dad, we thank God for your robust life well lived and the many years we spent together.
