James Muchemi Njuguna (Kabanga Njuguna)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of James Muchemi Njuguna.

Son of the late Njuguna Muriithi and Njeri Njuguna of Kirai village, Mahiga, Othaya, Nyeri County. Loving husband of the late Ruth Mukuhi Muchemi. Doting father of Daniel Kabanga, Nancy Njeri, David Maina (Kihiu- Thika), Duncan Kingori (Msa), Samuel Gichuki (Msa), Gerald Kihara (Msa). Father-in-law of Lucy Kagotho (N.T.C. Nairobi), the late Emily Wambui, Benah Wanjiru (Thika), Phoebe Kingori (Msa), Lucy Wanjugu (Msa) and Juliana Wambui (Msa). Brother of the late Wangari Githinji (Karangia), the late Rev. Onesmus Kingori, the late Wagaki Kingori (Ihuririo), the late Wahinga Muchiri (Karangia) and Wanjiku Ndegwa (Karangia), among others.

Grandfather of Muchemi (Finland), Kagotho (Safaricom), the late Maina, Macharia, Muchemi, Mahu, Njuguna, Jimmy, Ruth, Ian, Samuel, Valentine, Muchemi, Ryan, Naomi, Shantel, Magee, among others. Uncle of the late Samuel Njuguna, Njeri (Mweiga), Nyambura (Kinagop), Gikeno (Karangia), Njuguna (Nyeri), Rev. Muriithi (Nanyuki), Wanjau (Msa), Waiganjo (Karangia), the Muruhiu’s of Ihuriruo among others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his Kirai Home from 4:00pm and Norwich Union, 7th Floor room 5A from 6:00pm or prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Outspan funeral home on Monday 23rd September, 2019 at 8:30a.m for requiem mass at Gakuyu PCEA Church, Mahiga Parish followed by burial at his Kirai Home.
