James Mutuankio Michira

We regret to announce the death of James Mutuankio Michira which occurred on 16 October, 2019.

Mzee is survived by his beloved wife Miriam Mwari and their children Kamami, Nkatha, Munene and Kananu (AJ). He was the doting grandfather of Muriithi, Mukami, Kanyiha, Kaume, the late Jayden, Liam and Njambi. Father-in-law to Patrick, Njenga, Kendy and Muhoro.

Mzee was the son of the late Moses M’NaMichira Kimbui and the late Ciabaibaya; Brother of Kaburo, Njilithia, the late Kariithi, the late Kithure, Mitheu, Mwonthea, Mukami, Mutuma, Gacheri, Nkoroi, the late Kaiyera, Kinya, Doris, Mwari, Thuranira, the late Mwika and Mutei. He was the son-in-law to the late Musa M’Ibun’ga and Martha Gaita and brother in law to Rebecca, the late Mbaabu, Mururu, the late Mbati, Kainda, Harriet and Kobia. He was an uncle and cousin to many.

Family and friends are meeting at All Saints Cathedral on October 22 and 23, 2019, from 5:30pm.

A funeral service will be held at Kalithiria Methodist Church on Friday, 25 October 2019 from 12:00 noon and he will be laid to rest thereafter at his home in Kalithiria, Tigania West Constituency, Meru County.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
