James Osewo Were

Sunrise 17th July 1959 – Sunset 27th July 2020

With great thanksgiving and humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the departure of James Osewo Were which occurred on the 27th July 2020 at St. Luke’s Orthopedic Hospital Eldoret. He was head conservator Kenya Forest Service, Western Region.

Son of Phyllis Nakimweyi Were and the late Albert Oduori Were. Son-in-law to Mr. & Mrs. Brown Olukusi. Brother to Elizabeth, Margaret, Grace, Harrison, David and Pamela Were. Husband to Mary Ong’ayo Were. Father to the late Brian Shiundu Were, Timothy Were and Neema Were. Brother-in-law to Ronnie, Winnie, Nancy, Jane, Rose and Lucy Olukusi. Cousin to many.

The burial will be on 4th August 2020 at his Mumias farm.

He will be greatly missed. In Gods hands you rest, in our hearts you live forever. Rest in eternal peace.
