We the Family of Mzee James Walter Dickson Osok Metho of Kisumu Karateng regret to announce his passing on at Victoria Hospital in Kisumu on Saturday 15th February 2020.

Mzee was a wonderful Husband, a loving Father, an amazing In Law to many families, loved and cherished Grandfather, kind Uncle and dear friend to many.

Daily meetings are going on at his home in Kisumu Karateng, Ong’iyo Village from Wednesday 19th February 2020 and at Public Service Club, Kisumu from 5pm.

Mzee’s final journey will begin at Aga Khan Hospital Mortuary, Kisumu at 11.00am on 5th March 2020 followed by a funeral mass at All Saints Cathedral ACK, Maseno Parish. The cortege will thereafter head to his home for an overnight vigil.

The Funeral Service will be held on 6th March 2020 beginning.at 10.00am and the final rites and burial ceremony at his home in Ong’iyo village, Kisumu Karateng, Kisumu West, Kisumu County.

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3: 13 – 14
