Jane Atieno Owenga

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of our beloved mum Jane Atieno Owenga. Nyakanyada lived a life so beautiful, and touched many hearts with her divine beauty, love and kindness. We humbly accept God’s will in taking one of His own.

She is the daughter of the late Damianus Obiero and the late Elizabeth Nyanganga. Sister of John, Elisha and Mary. Wife of the late Joel Owenga. Mother of George, Lilian, Evelyne, the late Reagan, Mildred, Belvine and Celine. Grandmother of Cindy, Treazer, Ashley, Joshua, Joel, Fiona and Halley. Mother-in-law of Diana, Vincent, Dennis and Koen.

Daughter-in-law of the late Teresia Ogembo and the late Awiti. Sister in law of the late Roselida, the late Elizabeth, Doris, Caren, Mary, the late Salome, the late Ang’iro,the late Frank, the late Cleophas, the Late Elijah, the Late Odiawo, Walter, Awiti, Musa Dayan, Isaiah, Jerry, Daudi, Fred and Nyandega.

Mum, you worked so diligently for the Lord and for all of us. May you now rest in perfect peace. We will love you to eternity.

The body leaves Avenue Hospital Kisumu on the 21st and Mama will be laid to rest on the 22nd of June at her home in Kendu Bay, Rachuonyo District, Karachuonyo East Division, Karachuonyo North East Location, Konyango Sub-Location.
