Jane Ngina Kabiru (Mama Wairimu)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Jane Ngina Kabiru (Mama Wairimu), formerly of Nottingham United Kingdom. She hails from Thigingi, lhwagi village, Karatina Mathira Constituency, Nyeri county.

A great and loving wife to Peter Kabiru Mugo. They were blessed with two lovely daughters: Terri Wairimu Kabiru and Victoria Muthoni Kabiru. Mother-in-law to Martin Nderitu and Grandmother to Theodore Thiong’o. She was an excellent wife, mother and grandmother.

Daughter of Simon Gichanga and Bertha Gathoni Gichanga. Daughter-in-law to William Mugo Ngonina and the late Teresa Njoki Mugo.

A dear sister to Elder Agnes Wangui & Wambugu Kioi, Wanjiru Gichanga & the late Matu Kariuki, Dr elder Ann Mugure, Rosemary Wambui & George Kiragu, Wachuka Gichanga, Wanjiku Gichanga & Daniel Mburu and Erastus Muriuki & Wachuka Muriuki.

Sister-in-law to Steven Murage & Wanjira Murage, the late Father Augustine Muriithi, the late Francis Maina &Lucy Njeri, Joseph Wachira & Ann Wambui, Jennifer Wanjiru & Martin Ngure, Ann Muthoni & John Ndungu, Lucy Njeri and late Wachira, Charles Githinji, and Regina Githinji She was an aunt, cousin and friend to many.

We shall hold our last prayer meeting in Nairobi at Homeland Inn – Thika Road, today from 6.00PM.

The daily prayers at the rural home in lhwagi Village, will continue everyday from 4.00PM.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monelisa Funeral Home – Kabati on 2nd May, 2023 at 7.00AM. The burial and funeral service takes place on the same day at 11.00AM at the family home in Thigingi, lhwagi Village, Karatina, Mathira Constituency.
