Jane Odongo Omonge

1938 – 24th March, 2022

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of Mama Jane Odongo Omonge, on 24th March, 2022.

The first-born child of the late Michael Abala and the late Rusalia Odayo Abala of Gem Ramula, Nyangulu village.

Wife of Mzee David Omonge Nyagudi of Seme West, Kobita.

Mother to Helida & the late Enoch Odero, Enoch & Benta Omonge, Naphtally & Pauline Omonge, Abednego & Judy Omonge, Wilson & Jacqueline Omonge, Deborah Omonge, Donald & Pamela Omonge and Ruth & Aggrey Ochieng. Auntie to George Ochieng, Beatrice Anyango and Grace Mugah.

Sister to the late Samuel Abala, Alice Nyamodi, the late Margaret Omollo, Maurice Abala, Prise Obongo, Claris Auma, Ismail Abala and Dennis Abala.

Sister-in-law to Mildred Okayo. Granny and Great granny to many.

There will be a celebration service on Monday 4th April, 2022 from 2pm to 4pm at the All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi.

Mama Jane will be laid to rest on 9th April, 2022 in Seme West, Kobita, Kisumu County.
