Jane Wambui Maina

It is with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs Jane Wambui Maina, daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Archibald Mungai Wagithuku of Mwimuto.

Wife of the late Professor Godfrey Maina, mother to Rose Nyaguthii Rabar, Wacuka Maina, Kabui Maina and Ciira Maina. Mother-in-law to Myke Rabar and Cecilia Watetu Ciira. Sister to the late Arthur Wagithuku Mungai, Grace Wanjiru Njaga, Sarah Wairimu Thiani, the late Keziah Nduta Mungai, the late Rose Wanjuhi Temu, the late Samuel Kibinu Mungai, Perminus Karanja Mungai and Beatrice Wanjiru Mungai. She was grandmother to Tracie Auma Wambui Rabar, Jade Wambui Hawi Rabar, Kareithi Maina, Njeri Bui, Wambui Ciira and Wanjiku Ciira.

The burial will take place on Thursday 23rd April, 2020 at the family farm in Subuku, Nyahururu.

In compliance with the government restrictions currently in place the burial will be held in private.
