Janet Kathang’a M’Imanene

With great humility and acceptance of God’s will, we announce the death of our beloved mum, Janet Kathang’a M’Imanene of Mpuri Sublocation, Murirene Village, that occurred on Saturday 28th September 2019 peacefully in her sleep.

Wife of the late M’Imanene M’Imongi. Beloved mother of Gladys Kajuju Mbogori, Joan Kiunga Mwiti, Jenika Karambu Gikunga, late John Kiogora, Naftaly Mworia, Bertha Mwari Miara, Harrison Nteere, Damaris Kairuthi Mutwiri, Beatrice Gatwiri Munyua and Erastus Muriuki. Mother in law of late Stanley Mbogori, late Stanley Mwiti, Samwel Gikunga, Julia Kiogora, Rose Mworia, Prof. Mutwiri, Elizabeth Nteere, Gatobu Miara, Francis Munyua and Alice Muriuki. Daughter of late M’Mwitari and late Nchenkei of Mwiteria. Sister of the late Julia Nkirote. She is survived by 47 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren

Friends and relatives are meeting daily as from 6pm at her Murirene home for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home on Friday 4th October 2019, for a funeral service at MCK Mpuri Methodist Church at 11am.

Thereafter she will be laid to rest at 2pm at her Murirene home, Mpuri Sublocation.
