Janet Nkirote Kimathi

It is with acceptance of Gods will that we announce the passing on of Mrs Janet Nkirote Kimathi that occurred on 13th Oct 2020.

Daughter of the late Jeremiah Nkiriti, the late Julia Nkiriti and Monica Nkiriti. Daughter-in-law of the late Ibrahim Kibui and late Susan Kathuni Kibui. Loving wife of Fredrick Kimathi Kibui and a darling mother of Martin Mbijiwe (KPLC), Faith Nkatha (KWFT), Peninah Kajuju-Penzi (KWFT), Irene Kathambi (Safaricom PLC) and the late Jane Kagwiria. Mother in law of Nancy Kendi (Meru), George Muita (fuhudi Kilimo), Omulo Junior (ANC), Kenneth Mugambi (Thika). Grandmother of Ridge, Reina, Precious, Lyla, Keagan and Shannele and aunt of many. Sister of John, Joyce, Mwendwa, kaburo, Nteere, Mary, Mwiti, the late Kimathi, late Kiruki and late Henry. Sister-in-law of Florence and Erastus, Harriet and Francis, Mukiri and Mutuma, Kanyiri, Kiunga, Wilson and Charity, Kimaita and Purity (Camflames), Koome and Jane, the late Margaret, late Miriti, late Kiambati and late Catherine.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Meru – Mpuri, Murirene village for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Meru Teaching and referral Hospital Mortuary on 21st Oct 2020 at 9 am for a requiem service at Mpuri MCK Church at 10AM thereafter burial at her Murirene home.
