It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Japounj Jectone Okune Ochere of Kodhiambo Village, Rageng’ni, Uyoma.

Beloved husband to Kesia Okune.

Brother to the late Wilson Ochaka and Mary Okech.

Brother-in-law to Dorca Ochaka.

Nyawana to the late Francis Okumu and the Peninah Oliech of Kiboswa, Kisumu.

Father to Pamela Okune (Washington, DC) and Paul Okune (Atlanta, USA).

Father-in-law of Alice Otieno (Georgia, USA). Grandfather to Agnes Meave, Frances, Jecton and Kesia all of USA.

Uncle to the Ochaka’s Rageng’ni, Odero’s Kopolo, Sakwa, Anyona’s Kasiri, Uyoma, Ogoma’s Imbo, Odingi’s Asembo, Ogenga’s Asembo and Wayumba’s Mabinju, Asembo.

The cortege will leave Star Mortuary on the 2nd June, 2023. Prayer service will be held at the ECCA Church – Rageng’ni, on the 2nd June, 2023. Thereafter, he will be taken to his homestead in Rageng’ni, for an overnight vigil. Burial service will be held on the 3rd June, 2023.
