It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Japuonj Jackoyada Nyandiga Okumu of Kamagambo Sare which occurred on 9th November, 2019 at Karen Hospital.

Husband of Tabby Atieno Nyandiga. Son of the late Barnaba Okumu and Aska Akumu. Father of Charles Odhiambo, Jim Otieno, Sam Nyandiga, Aska Akumu, Barnabas Okumu, Edna Awuor and Nehemiah Wasonga. Brother of the late Yucabeth Ong’injo, Yason Ogutu, Martha Okeya, Mical Awuonda, Dinah Opiata, Polycap Mboya, Lorna Nyawade and Herine Manyala. Son-in-law of Mama Dorcas Amayo and the late Pst. Zadock Amayo. Father-in-law of Kevin Aduda, Faith Sanga, Pamela Aluga and Melvin Ghati. Brother-in-law of Narkisho, Wilson, Caren, Yucabeth, Rose, Rhoda, Manyala, Penina the late Nyawade, Awuonda, Opiata, Okeya, Ong’injo and Caren. Cousin of Dr. Samuel Agonda, Dr. Isaiah Nyandega, Joram Uyala, Philemon Bwana, the late Odiawo Nyandega and Michael Dede.

There will be a major fundraising on Tuesday 19th November, 2019 at Maxwell SDA Church at 5:00pm.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home on Sunday 4th November 2019 and proceed to Sare Kamagambo, Migori county for service and burial at his home on 25th November 2019.
