Jayden Munene Michira

O Lord, whose ways are beyond understanding, listen to the prayers of your faithful people; that those weighed down by grief at the loss of this little child may find reassurance in your infinite goodness. In the name of the father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Jayden passed away at Lions Eye Hospital in Nairobi where he was rushed for emergency treatment following an asthmatic attack. He is the much loved son of Kendy and Joshua Michira and older brother of Liam Kimathi. Grandson of James and Miriam Michira; and Dr Nathan and Lucy Murugu; nephew of Nanu and Davis Murugu, Kananu, Nkatha and Kamami Michira; Rob Keingati, Muhoro Kanyiha, Felix Njenga and Patrick Mweti, lmani Keingati, Kanyiha and Kaume Muhoro, Njambi Njenga, Muriithi and Mukami Mweti were his first cousins. A warm and loving child, Jayden will be missed terribly by the entire Michira and Murugu families.

Family and friends will be meeting at All Saints Cathedral from 5:30 pm. to 8.00 ppm on Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 September 2018 to reminisce, grieve and support one another .

A requiem mass will be held at the Shrine of Mary, Help of Christians, Don Bosco, Upper Hill from 12:00 noon on Thursday, 13 September, 2018 and Jayden will be laid to rest at the family home in Kalithiria, Tigania West Constituency, Meru County on Friday 14 September, 2018.

Jayden, the sands of time will never wash away the love that we have for you. Your sweet memory will remain in our hearts forever.
