Jemimah Wanjiku Mwangi

We regret to announce the death of Jemimah Wanjiku Mwangi of Gachigi Location, Gichugu, Kirinyaga which occurred on Monday the 6th May at Mathari Hospital, Nyeri.

Wife of the late Laban Mwangi Manja. Daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Njarubiu, Sister of Juliana, Charity, the late Gladys and Jackson Karua. Mother of Mary Canon of Kiang’ombe, Beatrice (Kimunye), Patrick Kibuchi (Agri, Meru), Simon Mwangi ( KTDA), Denis Murage (Tana Water Services Board), S M Mwangi (Lands, Kirinyaga County & President Rotary Club, Kirinyaga), Jeniffer Wachira (Ndaragwa). Co-wife of Dorcas Muthoni. Mother of Mary Mumbi (Kagio), Rose SK, Njoki Kabiru (Mutitu Sec), Njoroge (Kimunye Pri.), Stanley (Kagoci), Gichimu (Businessman Kawangware), Wanjiku (Mugwandi Sec) and Martha (Rwang’ondu Primary). Mother-in-law of the late Canon Mbui, the late Symon, Lucy Njeri (TSC, Meru), Ann Mwai (Kerugoya), Josphine (TSC Nyeri), Nancy Muchiri (Thogoto TTC) and Wachira (Kikuyu Police Station), Jemimah Wanjiku. Dear aunt of Hon Martha Karua and Wilfred Kibaki of Fortune Sacco among others. A grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother of many.

Friends and family are meeting at her home Ngarange Village, Gachigi Sub-location at 5.00 pm daily.

The cortege leaves Kibugi Funeral Home, Kutus Town on Tuesday 14th May 2019 at 9.00am for church service and thereafter burial at her home Ngarange Village, Gacigi Sub-location near Ngarange Tea Buying Centre.
