This was a true shock. I have not seen her since 1994! She was my mother’s friend, and I remember spending one holiday with her when I was 8 years old. It was her smile that looked so familiar to me. I remember that her husband Joseph taught me to play scrabble and her daughter Irene was a baby of less than a year old and that my mum is the one that taught her to wrap the baby’s(Irene) shawl etc. We lost touch all these years, especially after my mother’s passing in 1998. I am glad to have at least got to say goodbye to aunty Jennifer.
