Jeremiah Maingi Munene

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Mr. Jeremiah Maingi Munene from Leshau, Nyahururu Farmers.

Husband to Hannah Wangeci Maingi, Son of the late Munene Gacema and late Wangari Munene. Step son of the late Wairimu Munene, late Wangui Munene and Virginia Nyiha. Son-in-law to the late David Ndiritu and the late Julia Njeri of Munyange village, Nyeri. Brother to the late Hannah Wakarima, late Jesse Karuri, Naftaly Wachira (Embu), Hon. Mary Wambui (Othaya), Moses Mugai, late Titus Taiti and Robert Ndiritu among others.

In-law to Mathenge, Mugi (Ongata Rongai), Wanjiru and Gichuhi among others. Father to Christine Njeri, late Faith Wakarima, Moses Munene, Nancy Wangari, Esther Wanjiru, late David Ndiritu, Samuel Karuri, Reginah Wairimu, Bilha Wambui, Mary Muthoni, Damaris Wangui and Sarah Wothaya. Father-in-law to Robert Wangendo, George Gatiru,-Karari Chege, Caroline Munene, Mercy Karuri, Maina, Felix, Francis and Kamunge. He leaves behind 25 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Burial will take place on Saturday 20th March 2021. Cortege leaves Pope Benedict’s Hospital Mortuary, Nyahururu at 8.00a.m for a funeral service at his home Leshau, Nyahururu Farmers.
