John Chrisostom Kihu Githinji

1930 – 2020

It is with grief and humble acceptance of God’s will we regret to announce the sad demise of John Chrisostom Kihu Githinji (formerly of Eastleigh Market).

Son of the late Githinji (Wambeu) wa Wanyaga and the late Mary Ngonyo (Warukira). Husband of the late Cecilia Watetu Kihu. Brother of the late Margaret Wacuka, the late Gregory Wanyaga and Cecilia Wangui. Cousin of the late Francis Wamumwe Magaru and Elizabeth Wahu Wamumwe and many others. Father of Dr Simon Kihu of Networks Eastern Africa, the late Rosemary Wambui, the late Boniface Maina, Moses Wanyaga, Paul Kihu of Netcom Solutions Karatina, Anne Lawi of Pangea Accelerator, Caroline Njoki and Linus Githinji of Art Caffe and Bakery. Father-in-law of Mary Nyambura, Njeri Maina, Wanjira Wanyaga, Mathiu Lawi, Wanjiku King’uru. Grandfather and an uncle of many.

The cortege will leave Chiromo Mortuary on Thursday, 23rd July 2020 for funeral Mass and burial at his home Wiyumiririe farm in Nyahururu at 11.00 am.
