It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of John Gakuya Mureithi of Wichita-Kansas (U.S.A) which occurred on 17th of Jan, 2020 at Wesley Hospital (Kansas).

Son of Phyllis Mumbi and the late Francis Mureithi Kinyua. Step son of Pst. Tito Wandai. Brother of Michael Kinyua “Kish” and step brother of Wandai and Wakarima (Germany). Grandson of Lucy Wamiru Kinyua and the late Richard Kinyua Mathenge, Anne Wanjira Gakuya and late John Gakuya Wahome. Nephew of the late Charles Mathenge, Bernard Munyaga,Amos Mwangi, Esther Gathigia, Wahome Gakuya (Nbi), Mwai Gakuya (Msa), Evah Mbugua (UK), Steve Gakuya (Nbi), Racheal Harrison (Nku) and Nancy Maina (Nbi). Cousin of John Wahome (Msa), Anne Muthoni (Msa), Alex Mbugua (U.K), John Ndunyu (UK), Sylvia “bobo” (U.S.A), Shish (U.K), Jedida (Msa), Kate (Nbi), Lewis George (Nbi), Dannyjoe (NKU), Johnfavor Kareko (NKU), Munene andTevin Wahome (Nbi) among others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at their home in Mwariki B-Nakuru, Kokeb Restaurant Nakuru at 5.30 pm and at All Saints Cathedral (Nbi) from5.00 pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves P.N.N Ngari-Nakuru on Friday 7th Feb, 2020 at 9.00am for funeral service and burial at the Nakuru South Cemetery.

God’s hands you rest, in our hearts you remain forever. Rest in peace ‘Sir John’.
