John George Omwaka

We graciously announce the falling asleep of John George Omwaka formerly of McLarens Toplis,on November 2nd 2022.

He was beloved husband to Ruth Lydia Omwaka. Adoring father to Godwin Omwaka and Franklin Ashioya.

Son to the Late Zakayo Omwaka and the late Alfreda Mbamwa.

Father-in-law to Lavender Odongo and Caroline Nyaga. Grandfather to Stephen Omwaka, George John jnr, Ruth Lynn, Gabriella Alfreda, Hannington Amaya and Ruth Omwaka.

Brother to the Wycliff Inyangala, Bill Aura, Edwin Ombanda, Rapher Buyeshe, Rodgers Indetie RispherOkutoyi, Phanice Tindi, Emily Makachia (all deceased), Florence Ayuma, Grace Atenya, Rebecca Atenya and Rhoda Nyona.

Uncle to the Ondere’s, Akwanyi’s, Ondirrs, Indetie’s Atenya’s, Nyona’s, Tindi’s, Enyangala’s and Okutuyi’s.

John George shall be laid to rest on 19th November2022 at his home in Mumakunda Village, Shiatsala Butere Kakamega.

“He has fought a good fight, finished the race and kept the faith,” 2 Timothy 4:7.

In God’s hands you rest, in our hearts you live forever. Amen
