John Irimu Kanja

 22/12/1948 – 8/9/2020

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of John Irimu Kanja after a long illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Virginia Wangu Kanja. Loving husband of Ruth Kanja. Father of Wangu Kanja, Ndoria Kanja, Njoki Kanja, Wanjiru Kanja and Wangire Kanja. Grandfather of Anselm, Sean, MacPreston, Angel, Ethan, Adriel and Cera. Brother to the late Lucy Wangari and to Duncan Ndoria. He was cousin, uncle and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Mihango (opposite Computers for Schools Kenya – CFSK).

There will be a memorial service on Tuesday 15th September 2020 St. Mary Catholic Church Mihango at 10.00am.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Wednesday 16th September 2020 at 6.00am. Burial will take place the same day at Mwangaza Village (Kariki), Kiriogo Location, Ndaragwa Constituency, Nyandarua County.
