It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved John Kanyua Ndegwa on 28th January, 2023.

Son to the late Godfrey Ndegwa Gitonga and Regina Wakarima Ndegwa. Son-in-law to Mesheck Muthigani and Agnes Wanjiru Muthigani.

Husband to Mary Michele Kanyua. Father to Mildred Mwihaki Kanyua, the late Regina Njeri Kanyua, Godfrey Ndegwa Kanyua and Derick Chomba Kanyua.

Nephew to the late James Muriithi Gitonga (Maina) and John Maina Gitonga.

Beloved brother to the late Joseph Gitonga Ndegwa, Cecilia Wamuyu Wanyeki (DCI – Headquarters), James Muriithi Ndegwa (Juja), Simon Mukundi Ndegwa (Sunton), Leah Wanjira Maina (Kamulu), Ann Njeri Macharia (Githurai), Mary Wairimu Maina (Kamulu), Beatrice Muthoni Ngigi (Ministry of Housing, Kiambu).

Brother-in-law to Dominic Wanyeki Mwathi (Githurai), Peter Maina Kimani (Kamulu), Samuel Macharia Ndung’u (Presbyterian University), Raphael Maina Gichuki (Ngara), Paul Ngigi Muiruri (Kiambu Town). Brother-in-law to Agnes Wangui, Leah Njoki and Jane Wairimu. A cousin, Grandfather and Great Grandfather to many.

Meetings and Prayers are being held daily at his home in Githurai 45 Mumbi – 40 Area, from 6.00pm well as his rural home in Kiagi Village, Nyeri County.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home (Thika Road side), on Friday 3rd February, 2023 at 7.00 am, for the funeral service at his home Kiagi Village, Huho-ini Sub-location, Gaaki Location, Gititu, Tetu Division, Nyeri County.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.
