John Karanja Githaiga

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of John Karanja Githaiga.

Son of the late Mzee Bernard Githaiga Macharia and Lucy Wangeci Githaiga of Othaya in Nyeri. He was a brother to Joseph Macharia, the Late Mary Thogori, Samuel Kihara, Eunice Githaiga, Jacinta Wangari and Rahab Nyambura.

He was a son-in-law to the late Patrick Wambu and Mary Muthoni of Kiamwangi village in Gatundu.

Husband of the late Emily Njeri Karanja. Father of Lucy Wangechi, Benard Githaiga, Patrick Wambu and Joseph Macharia and 2 grandchildren Liam Karanja and Lian Wambui. He has left behind 4 children and 2 grandchildren.

The Funeral Mass will be held at Langata Cemetry on Friday 29th July, 2022 from 10.00am after which the cremation will follow at the same venue.

May God rest his soul in eternal peace. Rest well Karanja, we shall meet again.
