We the family of John Kibera Otanga are grateful to Almighty God for gracing us with the precious privilege of sharing our life with a son, husband, loving father, brother and a friend.
We are sincerely greatful to family members, friends and relatives who supported us during the ailment and
bereavement. We are appreciative of the prayers, love, presence, messages of comfort and generous financial support.
We extend our special thanks to Dr. Shirshir Seth and Dr. Richa IPL with the team at Apollo Hospital in New
Delhi, India. Gufran, marketing at Apollo Hospital. John Namu (caregiver), India. Prof. Nicholus Abinya, Prof Riaz Khan and the Nairobi Hospital staff. Dr Oyiro and the Dr’s and nurses at Nairobi West Hospital .
We would also like to appreciate PAG lvugwi church for giving a befitting funeral service, St.Antony of Padua in Juja for the prayers, candle lighting and a memorable mass.
We express special gratitude to the dedicated medical and funeral committees in Nairobi and Soy for their tireless efforts and unwavering commitment that ensured our beloved John received a befitting send off.
Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to the HR Team and colleagues at Nation Media Group (NTY) and professional colleagues from other media houses for their continued support.
We also want to express gratitude to the families of Otanga’s, Kibera’s, Wandurua’s, Sintaroi’s, Juma’s and Ndurumo’s who travelled long distances to support and condole with us. Special thanks to Gilbert Okubasu, Dixon Onyango, Seth Olale, Vincent Mukambe, the Presidential Escort Unit, KE-Indian Buddies and everyone who donated blood for John.
