John Kiguitheria Mbugua
It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of John Kiguitheria Mbugua who hails from Kianjogu village, Giathieko Sub-location, Ngewa Location and Githunguri Sub-county.
Son of the late Francis Mbugua and Hannah Wangari. Son-in-law to the late James Ngugi and Philomena Wangui. Husband to Teresia Wanjiku. Loving father to Ivy Wangari, Mark Elvis Mbugua and Jane Wanjiku.
Brother to Muthoni and Chepkwony, Beatrice Wambui, Kago and Kagure, Nyambura and Mathenge, Nyokabi and Njoroge, Kairegi and Njeri.
Brother-in-law to Samuel Waithuki, Patrick Kagiri, Bernard Mburu, Lucy Wanjiru and Brenda Muthoni. Uncle to many and a grandfather of two.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence in Funguo Estate, his parents home at Kianjogu village and All Saints Cathedral at 6.00pm.
The cortege will leave KU Referral Hospital on Tuesday, 27th September 2022 for a requiem service at PCEA – Kanjai Academy ground at 10.00am. Burial will thereafter take place at Kianjogu village on the same day.

We were classmates at KIA,Kabete in 1989.He emerged the best student in Advanced Auditing in the national exam at the end of it all that year.
