John Kiige Gichuki

The family of John Kiige Gichuki hereby announce the passing  on to glory of our dearest dad Mzee John Kiige Gichuki after a long illness which occurred on 30th October 2017.

He hails from Gaturiri Village, Karindundu Sub-location in Nyeri County. Son of the late Gichuki Kamondo and the late Wanjiru Gichuki. Husband of Mary Nyakairu. Father of Consolata Wamuyu (Nyeri), the late Francis Maina, Patrick Mwaniki (Nairobi), Lydia Wanjiru (Karatina), the late Charles Mwangi, Susan Wakiuru (Kagio), George Muita (Nation Media Group), Peter Macharia(Karatina), Catherine Wacuka(Nanyuki). Brother of the late Waringa and the late Mwangi. Grandfather of Mary Gathigia, Wambugu, Wanjiku, John Kiige, Wairimu, Mwai, Neb,Winnie, Kennedy, Dan, Stella, Marykaren, Faith,  Pendo,Tumaini and Ivy. Great grandfather of Julius, Abi Vivian, Njeri, Prince, Steve and Teresa.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Gaturiri village, Karindundu Sub location Nyeri County. The cortege leaves Jamii Nursing Home on Tuesday 7th November 2017, thereafter the funeral service and burial will take place at his home Gaturiri village Karatina.
