It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our beloved Mr John Kimanguku Mbiti on 26th Feb 2020.
Husband of Lena Kamene John. Son of the late Mzee Mbiti Mkula and the late Rael Kaluki. Brother of the late Mueke, the late Mbendi, the late Nyenya, Munyai, Kanyungu among others. Father of Charles Mukula, Sheila Mwikali, Jackly Syokau, Joseph Muthini, Kasyoka Mbiti, Joan Kimangulu, Cosmas Kyengo and Robert Nyamai. Grandfather of Brenda, Rey, Sydney, Eunice, Thuku, Millicent, Winnie, Natalie, Stacy, Kimangulu Snr, Lexy, Mutuku, Andrea, Kamene, Kaluki, Ndinda, Kimangulu Jr, Sheila, Tyra among others. Great grandfather of Prosper, Hope, Leeroy and Zawadi. Son-in-law of the late Rev Muli and Loise Ndinda. Brother-in-law of the late Sammy Nzyimi, late Bishop Francis Mull, Rebecca Nyithia among others. Father-in-law of Wanja, Jemima, Judith, Catherine among others.
The cortege leaves KNH Mortuary (Nairobi) on Saturday 7th March 2020 at 6:30am. Funeral service and burial will take place the same day at Ithumba, Makueni County.
