John Lazarus Ochuka

1948 – 24 March 2024

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of John Lazarus Ochuka, formerly of Kenya Ports Authority on 24th March 2024.

He was son of the late Lazarus Ochuka. Odero and the late Mama Marcella Acholla.

He was loving husband of Risanile Acieno Ochuka and Jane Akinyi Ochuka. Father of Beatrice, Marsher, James, Navine, Winne, Linda and Daisy. Father in-law of Eng Dietmer, Herman, Lammek, Dr. Wara, Eng Robert, Ruth & Rahma. He was Grandfather of Eugene, Blessing, Daniel, Marie, Leonar, Daisy, Angle, Joy, Yvanna, Lennox, Natasha, Abdulazak, Aiman, Jarvis & Halley.

He was a brother of the late Okello, the late Ochuodho, the late Odoyo, the late Meshack, the late Ndire, Okiaka, Sila, the late Ochieng, the late Nyangueso, Suprina, jeniffer, Jane, Sippy, Perez.

He was brother in-law of Filgona, Jane, Joyce among others. He was son in-law of the Anindos’ and Amenyas’ and cousin of Opuch, Adero, Johnny & the Otory’s among others.

He was uncle of Jossy, William, Obote, Dr. Kawaka, Teacher Wycliff, Hillary, Ochieng,Akinyi, Elly, Hamisi, Papa, Foni,Winnie, Lilian, Mosses among others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Treeshade Villas, Isaac Gathanju Close, off Isaac Gathanju Road, Lavington, Nairobi as from 5.00pm

Fundraising will be held at Nairobi Central SDA Church Milimani (Maxwel) on 2nd April 2024 at 5.00pm.

Funeral church service will be held on Wednesday, 3rd April 2024 at 2.00pm at the same venue.

The cortege leaves Montezuma & Monalisa Funeral Home on 4th April 2024 for burial on Friday, 5th April at his home in Lwanda Chief’s Camp, Kabuoch Kobita, Ndhiwa.
