John Mavui Mutinda

1955 – 2020

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of John Mavui Mutinda, which occurred on 15th June 2020 at Bishop Kioko Catholic Hospital Machakos.

Son of the late Mutinda Kyungu and Loise Muia. Loving husband of Angelinah Wanza, brother of Peter Mwau, Daniel Kilo, Phillis Mukenyi, Jackson Munyao (NMG), Julius King’oo, Jones Muli and Mutindi. Father of Bernard Musyoka (Kenya Coast National Polytechnic), Ednah Nduku (Oasis Academy), Peninah Mbula (Rose of Sharon Academy), Gideon Wambua (Simba Cement), Duncan Kioli (Research Guru Ltd), Racheal Mutesi (Stima Sacco) and Eunice Mwewa (Philmed Hospital). Father-in-law of Georginah Kaloo, Edwin Mwangi and Christine Mbete and grandfather of Kelvin Ndivo, Joy Katheu, Praise Wanza, Franklin Maina, Tyra Wambui and Jayden Muuo.

The cortege leaves Machakos Funeral Home on Tuesday 23rd June 2020 at 7am for the burial at his home in Muuamo Village, Kithumani Location, Makueni County.
