John Mune Kang’ethe (JJ Masiga)

It is with profound sadness and humble submission of God’s will that we announce the passing of John Mune Kang’ethe (JJ Masiga) which occurred on 4 May 2019 while undergoing medical treatment at Paras Hospital in India.

Husband of Serah Njeri Mune and father of Eunice Njoki Mune, Mary Nyambura Mune and James Kang’ethe Mune. Grandfather of Liam Mwikwabe Muhingira. Son of the late James Kang’ethe Nyauici and the late Eunice Njoki Kang’ethe. Brother of the late Stephen Mburu, Nancy Wanjiru Hornby, the late Mary Watiri and Richard Njenga. He was the son-in-law of John Ngigi Nyanjui and Mary Nyambura Ngigi.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Ngecha village, Limuru from 4:30pm for prayers and to prepare for the funeral.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home at 08:00am on Thursday 16th May 2019 and the funeral service will be held at PCEA Mother Church, Ngecha at 10:00am.The burial ceremony will follow at his home in Beera, Ngecha.

There will be a harambee to offset the medical bill incurred in India on Sunday 19th May 2019 at 2pm at Ngecha Community Water Project Grounds within Ngecha Shopping Centre.
