It is with humble acceptance that we announce the promotion to glory of Mr. John Mwangi Mukundi who went to be with the Lord on the evening of Sunday 11th November 2018.

Son of the late Mr. Moses Mukundi Kinandu and Mrs. Rose Nyambura Mukundi. Son-in-law of the late Mr. Simon Wanjau and the late Mrs. Alice Kagure. Husband of Mary Muthoni Mwangi. Father of Rose Nyambura (KALRO), the late Moses Mukundi (Formerly of KARI), Symon Wanjau and Joseph Mwangi (Formerly of Panari Hotel). Brother of Cecilia Wachira, Jane Mukundi, the late Mary Muchiri, Margaret Kabutha, Njagi Mukundi, Paul Maina and the late Gerald Maruhi.

In-law of Lucy Nyambura, Richard Warui, Charles Kimunya, George Maina and Jane Wanjiru. Father-in-law of Charles Gatere, Susan Wanjau and the late Esther Njagi. Grandfather of Viane Muthoni, Bryan Ndungu, Wesley Mwangi, Stephany Wangui and the late John Mwangi Njagi. Great grandfather of Brandon Mukundi. Uncle of Simon Wanjiru Wanjau, Bob, Pat, Edwin, Moses Njagi, Rose, David, Moses Maruhi, Margaret, Leonard, Simon Wanjau Kimunya, Alice Kagure among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily from 3.00p.m. at his home in Huho-ini Nyeri and from 6.00p.m at Emmaccra Hotel.

The cortege leaves Outspan Funeral Home, Nyeri on Tuesday 20th November 2018 at 9.00 a.m. for funeral service at Our Lady of Visitation Kiaigi at 11.00a.ni. and later Burial rites at his home near Ft. Nyammo Sec. School in Gathaithi, Nyeri county.
