John Ndiga Gatei

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the death of our treasured father, brother, cousin, uncle and friend John Ndiga Gatei (formerly of KALRO – Nairobi) after a long illness.

Husband to the late Mrs. Irene Wanjiku Kariithi Gatei.

Father to Betty Karimi Gatei, ustin Munene Gatei and Fiona Nyawira Gatei. Grandfather to Adrian Mbiria Ngiri, Benjamin Kamuyu Mwangi and Ethan Gatei Munene.

Son-in-law to the late Benard Kariithi Gakuru and the late Grace Warui Kariithi of Kimbimbi, Kirinyaga County. Brother to Albert Gatei, Eustace Muriithi, Irene Kuthii, Joseph Ndogo, Gladwell Wanjiru, Abishag Njoki, Lilian Wambui, Joyce Wanja, Ephantus Mbai, Janet Wangui and Asnath Wawira. He was a cousin and a great friend to many.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, 27th September 2022 at Githure Village, Gichugu, Kirinyaga County.
