It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance that we announce the demise of our beloved John Ngure Njiru which occurred on Monday 20th May 2019.
Former teacher, chief inspector of schools (A.E.O.) in Kirinyaga and Nyeri County, TSC disciplinary committee secretary (Nairobi), proprietor of St. John Progressive Academy, mentor of C.M.A Kerugoya Catholic Parish and chairperson Kerugoya Catholic Church Parish Council.
A loving husband of Josephine Wambura Ngure. Son of the late Njiru and the late Flora Kori.

Father of Peter N. Ngure (Kerugoya), Consolata Kinyua (Nakuru), Antony M. Ngure (Karuri Posta), Lucy Maina (Nairobi), Patrick W Ngure (Kibro Kerugoya), Ann. C.W. Ng’ang’a (Embu Law Courts/ Australia), Nancy K. Maina (Murang’a Catholic Diocese/Australia).

Brother of the late Wangeci, Gatimu, the late Munyi, Ngari and the late Micere. Brother-in-law of the late Stela, Joseph, the late Felista, Nancy and Sunrise: 4th May 1943 Mwaniki. Grandfather of Rita, Calvin, Elvis, Nedved, Austin, Baptista, Emmanuel, Valarie, Valentine, Eric, Moses, Cullen,Aziel, Teegan, Trey among others.

Uncle of Timothy, D.J. Pinye, Pastor Wachira, Gitonga among others.

Father-in-law of Catherine, Chris, Angela, Tom, Cate, Apollo and Titus.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his residence in Miringa-iri Kiaritha at 4pm and Kerugoya Catholic Church hall at 5pm.

The cortege leaves Mt. Kenya Hospital Mortuary at 9am following mass at his residence at 11am on 4th June 2019.
