John Obong’o Mbeche

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of John Obong’o Mbeche, a retired teacher which occurred on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at TopHill Hospital in Eldoret.

Son of the late Samuel Mbeche and the late Pascalia Abong’o of Ugwe, Kabonyo Kanyagwal Ward, Nyando Constituency.

Husband of Judith Auma (Kandaria Primary School, Kadibo Sub County). Father of Maureen, Cecilia (St Vincent Hospital, Koru), Cecil (Nation Media Group), Don (Siaya Institute of Technology), Kevin (Sango Buru Secondary), Derrick, Dolphine and Paul (Form Four student, Gendia High School).

Son-in-law of Paul Aloo and Jane Aloo of Nyakach Kadiang’a, Nyakach Sub County.

Brother of Joyce Akinyi, the late Wilson Masara, the late Lawi Obul, Peres Jaoko, the late Rose Atieno, Ramanus Okoth, and the late Silpa Anyango.
Uncle of Benter, Samuel, Otieno, Milka, Sarah, Achieng, Austin, Wycliffe, Chloy, Maureen, Pauline, Jared, George, Atieno, Otuso, Elsa, Ochieng, Okoth, Boss, Jacky and Akoth.

He was father-in-law of Kennedy Odhiambo, Erickson Achelwa, and Beryl Akeyo.

Brother-in-law of late Akumu Ragwari, Jaoko Otieno, Grishon, Tabitha, Elijah, Ben, the late Jemimah, and Ochieng.

Other in-laws are Hellen Akeyo, Syprina Akeyo, Joseph Bolo, and George Obuolo of Kobala -location,Wang’chieng ward, Karachuonyo Sub County.

Other in-laws Gilbert Tsindoli, the late Alice Ayuma, Frida Ngoya, Felestus Okwisa and Sarah Christine.

He was a doting and loving grandfather of Princeton, Havy, Gennelle (Aisha), and Tiffany (Tifu).

Relatives and friends are meeting at his home in Ugwe, Central Bwanda Location, Nyando Constituency daily for fundraising and funeral arrangements. cortege leaves Star Annex Mortuary in Kisumu on Thursday, April 18 2024 for an night stay at his home.

The burial will take place on Friday, April 19 2024 in Ugwe, Kabonyo Kanyagwal, Nyando Constituency.
