It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of John Otieno Ariandah, following a short illness bravely borne.

Son to the late Ariandah Awedhi and the late Truphosa Anyango. Brother to Ongoro, Barrack, Adiel, Awino and Gwala (all deceased).

Beloved husband to Eunice Adhiambo Otieno. Father to Lilian Anyango (MoH – Rachuonyo), Irene Aluoch of Akingli Primary School, Kisumu, Geoffrey Otieno of Geoffrey Otieno & Company Advocates and Timothy Oluoch of Tigeod Enterprises.

Uncle to the late Eric, Jack, Moses, Ken, the late Edwin, among others. Father-in-law to Duncan Arunda (MoH – Migori), Moses Akuno (Germany) and Jackline Sayo (Nakuru).

Brother-in-law to Agnes, Enoch, Mary, Isaac, Michael and Jane.

Son-in-law to Stephen and Margaret Mboya of Oriang’ Manywanda, Kendu-Bay.

Mzee was grandfather to Wendy, Nicole, Fridah, Darwin, Damien, Alexelle and Alexa.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home at 4.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

A fundraising ceremony will be held on 06/04/2022 at his home.

Mzee will be laid to rest on 08/04/2022 at his home in Rawinji Village, Oyugis Town.

The cortege will leave Matata Funeral Home on 8th April 2022 at 7.00am for a funeral which will be held at the Rawinji Chief’s Camp.

2nd Timothy 4:7 —” I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race.”
