John Wachira Muriuki (Warubai)

We regret to announce the death of John Wachira Muriuki (Warubai) through a tragic road accident at Sagana. He was working with Cosmos Construction Ltd. He hailed from Ihwagi village, Iriani location, Nyeri County.

Son of the late George Muriuki and the late Lydia Wanjugu Muriuki. Son-in-lw of John Ngugi and Cecilia Ngugi. Loving husband to Phylis Njoki and father to Nickson Muriuki (University of Eldoret) and Lydia Wanjugu (Kenyatta University). Brother of the late Francis Rutha Muriuki, the late Juliet Nyaguthii, Mary Wambere and the late Purity Wanjiru. Brother-in-law of Teresia Rutha, Esther Wanjiru Kamau, Patrick Kabee Ngugi and others. Uncle to Eric Muriuki, Mark Muriuki, David Kigundu, Caroline Wanjugu, Clement Githinji, Jackline Wanjugu, Alex Wachira and the late Andrew Kabethi.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Ebony chambers, Tom Mboya Street next to Tuskys Commercial. Hunters-Hill top Bar and Restaurant (off Kasarani—Mwiki road) and his Kamugoiri home, Karatina.
