John Wanjau Gatua

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved John Wanjau Gatua formally of BigTime Safaris that occurred on 09th October 2019.

Son of the late Simon Peter Ndung’u Gatua and Jane Wangui Ndung’u. Beloved husband of Lennah Wambui Wanjau. Loving Father of Peter Gatua, Scheffer Mwangi, Remmy Waititu and Jane Wangui. Brother of the late Willy Mbugua, the late Isaac Karanu, David Macharia (Kenyatta) of Vintage Africa Safaris, Benard Muchori of JKIA, the late Samwel Waweru, Elizabeth Wangari, Esther Muthoni and Daniel Kabutu of Co-operative Bank. Nephew of Veronica Njeri, Pauline Wanjiku, David Gikingo and Sammy Gikingo, among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at ambassador hotel Nairobi, his Thome Marurui home and at his parents home Mang’u Nakuru.

The cortege leaves Umash funeral home Nakuru on Friday 18/10/2019 at 7:30am for funeral service and burial at Mang’u family home Nakuru county.
