Johnson Nyaboga Obaga

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mzee Johnson Nyaboga Obaga, a retired civil servant Ministry of Culture and Social Services, after a long battle with Cancer.

Son to the late Mzee Obaga Nyaboga and Mama Tabitha Nyambane of Gesiaga village, Nyamira County. Beloved Husband to Josephine Mokeira Nyaboga. Father to Dr. Edward, Maryline, Wallace, Tabitha and Lucy. Grandfather to Zechariah, Lavender, Priscah, Keith, Janelle, Ivy, Nathan, Tamara,Thomas, Naomi and Johnson. Brother to Elizabeth, J erusa, Joyce, Veronica, the late Peter, Singorina, the late Nyariki, Ogwora and others. Brother-in-law to Masara, Joel Kimoni (USA), Ambassador Mwencha and others. Cousin to the Nyameinos, Okaras and others. Uncle to Cliff Bioreri (USA), Jerusa, Devinate, Mami, Michelle, Ogwora, Angela, Peggy, Nehemiah and others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements. Main fundraising is on   Wednesday 17th March 2021.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta National Hospital Funeral Home on Thursday 18th March 2021 at 8am for a church service at Nairobi Central SDA Church-Maxwell.

Burial will be held on Friday 19th March 2021 at his Kongoni farm, Likuyani division, Kakamega County.
