Jonai Otieno Mukungu

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jonai Otieno Mukungu on 27th May 2019.

He was the son of the late Andrea Naphtali Mukungu and Esther Ondeko Mukurigu. Husband of Rachael Kuboka Mukuna, and father of Myron Mukuna Eshuchi, Andrew Wilson Mukungu and Elsie Bella Matendechere. Father-in-law to Yar Deng and Grandfather to Emmanuela Adhieu Mukuna.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangement at City Hall, Court 1 and at his home in Kabrani village, lnaya, Butere, from 5 pm.

There will be a prayer service and fundraiser in Nairobi on Sunday, 2nd June 2019 at his home in South B, Goldengate Estate, Karuku Road, House No. 287 and on 4th June 2019 at his home in Inaya.

The cortege shall leave St. Mary’s Mumias Mortuary on Thursday 6th June 2019 for his home in lnaya.

Funeral service and burial shall take place on 8th June 2019 in Inaya, Butere.
