Jonathan Mutuku

It is with deep sorrow that we the family of Jonathan Mutuku announce the death of our beloved father, mentor and friend to many.

Jonathan Mutuku (aka Sammy) was born in 1958 in Kivai village, Kivani location, Machakos county.

Loving husband of Rose Kanini Mutuku, and are blessed with 5 children namely, Everlyne Katheu Ngetich, Mercy Nthambi, Catherine Mumo, Keziah Muute, and Milka Mwikali. He is blessed with 3 grandchildren; Amani Muuo, Imani Chepng’etich and Neema Cherotich. He had 3 sons; Fred Ngetich, Boniface Simekha and Steve Ndunda. Jonathan is the third born son of the late Nzyoka Sila and the late Elizabeth Nzyoka. He is brother of Harisson Mutua, James Sila and Joel Kiio Mwania.

Jonathan went to be with the Lord on February 11, 2019 at Mater Hospital, Nairobi after battling with long-term liver problem.

Meetings are being held daily at his home in Syokimau Parliament Phase 2 and his rural home at Ilatu in Makindu, Makueni County.

The cortege will leave Montezuma funeral home for burial at his Ilatu home on February 18, 2019 at 6am.
