Joseph Absalom Ojiem (Jabungu)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather Joseph Absalom Ojiem (Jabungu) of Ahero Kakola of Kisumu county which occurred on the 26th of April 2018 at Aga Khan hospital Kisumu.

Son of the late Mzee Absalom Ojiem Nyakado, mama Loice Ogada, mama Priscila Nyambok and mama Roselida Akumu. He leaves behind his loving wife Mrs. Mary Ojiem and children: Lewtine Ojiem, James Ojiem, Duncan Ojiem, Judy Ojiem-Orwa and Linda Ojiem.

He was brother of the late Rebecca Phillips, the late chief Hezron Ogallo, the late Mr.Wilson Okonjo, the late Mr. Michael Odotte Kojiem, the late Mrs. Maseline Omwono, Mrs. Mary Oloo, the late Mr. Peter Modi Ojiem, the late Mr. Joshua Okech, Mrs. Hilda Anyumba, the late Mr. Tim Ong’ondo, the late Mrs. Susan Adoyo, Mrs. Linet Opiyo, the late Mrs. Monica Aoko, and Mrs. Damaris Bala.

Brother-in-law of Mrs. Rose Odotte Kojiem, Jeniffer Ogallo, Mrs Pamela Ogallo. Mr. John Luke Opiyo, Mr. George Omwono among others. Father-in-law of Rose, Carol, Tom, Noah among others. Loving grandpa of Cathy, Mary, Vernelle, Vanessa, Denim, Joe, Levi, Jozy among others and great grandfather of Judah and many others.

The cortege leaves Agha Khan Mortuary Kisumu today at 10.00 am.

Burial shall take place on 26th May 2018 at his home in Ahero.
