Joseph Chege Wanjihia

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Joseph Chege Wanjihia that occurred 1st December 2018.

Husband of Jane Wanjiru Chege (Wamuhuhu). Father of Njihia Kung’u, Peter Muhuhu, Beth Wanjiku and David Muchai. Son of the late Wanjihia Muitaime and Wanjiku Wanjihia (Wamwiko). Son-in-law of the late Muhuhu Kabi and Wandia Muhuhu. Brother of David Muchai Wanjihia, Micheal Mwiko Wanjihia, the late Miriam Wangari Kamau, Mary Wairimu Ndungu, Jacinta Njoki Wanjihia and Philip Njuguna Wanjihia.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home Karugo, near Kagwe Tea Factory and at his Cedar Park farm in Gitare, Gilgil and Holy Family Basilica on Tuesday and Wednesday from 5.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

Mass and burial will be on Thursday 6th December from 10.00am at his farm Karugo village, Kagwe, Lari Sub-county.
