Joseph Francis Obiero Okang’

Otiende Welfare Association (OWA) and the Family regret to announce the passing on of Mr. Joseph Francis Obiero Okang’ former OWA Patron, which occurred on October 31, 2018 while undergoing treatment at Bama Hospital, Siaya.

Son of the late Adriano Okang’ and the late Rosalia Ojak of Alego Ndere, Kakum Kombewa Sub-location, Siaya County. Husband of Domtilla Atieno Obiero of Gem Anyiko. Father of Simphrose Ogutu, Maria Obiero, Robert Obiero, Elizabeth Obiero, Roselyne Obiero and, Adriano Okang’. Father-in-law of Constance Okoth, Dalmas Owira, Conrad Owiny, Daisy Okech, Morris Odeny, Polycup Osero and Beryl Otieno.

Friends and Family are meeting at his residence in Lang’ata Ngei Phase 2, Nairobi and, his home, in Alego, Siaya County for funeral arrangements.

There will be a fundraising on Tuesday November 13, 2018 at All Saints Cathedral Hall, Nairobi from 5.30pm.

The cortege leaves Masaba Hospital Mortuary, Kisumu County on November 16, 2018 at 8:00 am for a requiem mass at St. Paul’s Mbaga Catholic Church, Siaya at 11:00am.

The burial will be on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at his home in Alego Ndere, Siaya County. The funeral service will start at 10:00am.
